This Gila Woodpecker greeting card measures 5.5"x4.25", is printed in my home studio on 100% recycled card stock paper, and is paired with a 100% recycled kraft brown envelope. Inside is blank. Cards can either be purchased packaging-free, or individually packaged in clear plant-based PLA "plastic" open-ended sleeves for protection while on display. The back reads: Gila woodpeckers make their homes in one of the harshest environments in North America, where they excavate nesting cavities in live saguaro cactus. Their unique cavities are often repurposed by other desert species, including the adorable elf owl.
